Shopping Away...

Sunday was our anniversary, as I posted below, so Bryan and I made a day out of it with some Christmas shopping and dinner. I would have much rather gone to see a movie or something...2 hours at a packed Toys R Us with people bumping their cart into me is not my ideal anniversary activity. But, shopping had to get done. After that though we went to Nordstrom to do some browsing for ourselves and I came really really close to walking out with this..

Which I now, really really regret not buying at the moment. Bryan said, I can get this or a new camera. I should have just bought the bag, it's way cheaper than the camera.My trusty big ol' Coach is 2 years old and has been used more like a diaper bag and for sippy cup storage. Maybe Santa will read this and get the hint. In the middle of all the shopping, I decided to get my hair chopped. Really chopped. I haven't had my hair this short in about 2 years.
By that time we were hungry, we ended up eating at Joes and I felt really guilty because I know Caden loves Joes and shrimp. Next time we'll be sure to take him. He ended up eating some shrimp when Gma and Gpa took all 3 kids to eat dinner that night....my are they brave. As for Mommy and Daddy's day out - that was it, shopping for toys and dinner, what an anniversary. But what do you expect going out is hard with 3 kids. We were glad to see them when we got home. Ry was taken by surprise by my haircut, and the big kids told me I looked beautiful. Those kids know how to kiss up to mommy.
