My Big Boy Is ONE...

It's been so incredibly crazy around here, and I haven't had a chance to post about Rylen's first birthday. I told about his party but not his birthday. We took the kids to see Santa that day, Dec. 19th, then we took him to get something special from Lakeshore. He loved everything that he played with. That's the good thing about that store, you can play with lots of stuff before you buy it. So we picked out this fishbowl with a rod so he can go fishing. Then we went to get dinner, and came home for a cupcake and a visit from the Hof's along with a few presents. He was a little grumpy during cupcake time, long day and short nap make a very grumpy baby.
I am so so sad that he's one already. Before I know it he'll be jumping around with the big kids, getting into trouble just like they do. I can remember when he was just a bitty baby. He was the sweetest little thing. I swear it just doesn't seem like long ago that I used to swaddle him up and dance him to sleep. I can still do that of course cause he's only one, but now he's a big ol' boy, not the tiny little bundle that I used to hold. That sweet little baby is growing way too fast for Momma.

But I baked him for 38 loooong weeks
