After that we went to my Grandma's house, we call her Momo. We saw lots of family and Brityn enjoyed her turkey dinner. Ry enjoyed the attention and being carried around.
When we left there, we came back to the Carrillo's house to open presents. The kids open presents from Gma and Gpa, what they got for each other, and what ever they get from Aunt Stephie and Uncle Bob. I let them open up a few from me and Bryan too. Mostly gymbo pjs, which they seemed thrilled about. I'm being sarcastic of course. The night before we took them out to target to pick out 2 things for their siblings. Brityn got Caden some Bakigon (how ever the heck you spell it) things he had been wanting, and a football. She also picked out a cell phone toy for Ry. Caden picked out a Hannah Montana water bottle for Brit, his reason was because she is always thirsty, and a box of popcorn. Yes a box of popcorn. He could have gotten her some kind of toy, but he said she likes popcorn. Funny kid. He got Ry some Thomas the Train water toys.
I got my presents from the kids too that night. The kids picked out some vanilla shampoo and conditioner and hand lotion for me. It's a step up from last year...they got me a hairbrush and a mirror. How funny is that? BW got me a super cool phone. I Love It!! We got daddy a new watch and the sweater he had been wanting, and Santa put some sock monkey boxer briefs in his stocking.
So it was a full night. We ate yummy tamales, unwrapped presents, and had a blast.
After all that the kids set up cookies and milk and went to bed. Santa and I brought out the good stuff then went to bed ourselves. Exhausting.
