I'm In Allergy HELL!!!

Itchy, watery, heavy, blood shot eyes are the worst! The sniffling is pretty bad too, but I can deal with that. I'm so embarrassed about the eyes though. They are so red I look like I'm either a drunk or a pill popping mom. I am neither for the record. I had been blaming the eyes on my contacts, but I don't think that's the case. See, I had gotten a new type of silicone contacts to try out, I went to the eye doctor for a follow up and the Dr said I may be allergic to silicone. So he gave me another type to try out and nothing has gotten better. I am probably not allergic to the lenses, just the terrible crappy air. I don't know what to do. I can't be hopped up all day on antihistamines either cause well, I have to function and those put me right to sleep. It's so bad at night that I just have to go to bed early, so unlike me, because I can't stand to have my eyes open anymore. Waking up in the morning is just as bad too. I never had these problems until I moved back to this area. The coastal humidty was much kinder, even if it gave me frizzy hair.
