Saturday I had a big day of shopping planned. We woke early but didn't get going until about 2 p.m. We headed to the mall so that I could get the kids some more winter clothes. And well, I will use just about any excuse to go shopping. I hit up mostly Gap and of course Gymboree ( I had coupons for both..yippee), but found some good deals at other places too. I also got new shoes for Rylen and Brit at Stride. It was time for Ry to get some real big boy shoes he's already a size 4!! AND...I also got myself a pair of jeans and a shirt. So, I think the kids may be set for the cool weather I'm just waiting on the UPS man to show up with the last of Brityn's Gymbo.
After spending way more than I care to think about, we had dinner at only the best place ever - the Cheesecake Factory. We used to eat at the one in the Galleria in Houston, and we all loved it.
With full bellies we headed for home, the youngest 2 fell fast asleep on the ride home. All tuckered out from all the shopping.
Sunday we woke up and went to church. We had not been in a month, mostly while we were moving and stuff so it felt really nice to go. Then we had lunch with the MIL and my niece. After that it was home to change shoes for me cause my boots KILL my feet, then we went to birthday party in the park. We could only stay for a little bit cause we had to leave to celebrate Grandpa and Grandma's birthday at Aunt Stephie's house. An exhausting weekend.
Chowing down at the Cheesecake Factory (notice I didn't use a cover on the highchair GASP!! I'm a brave woman)...
