bringing up three: The Weekly Weekend Update...

We started out with soccer on Saturday morning. We had to be there extra early (8:45 am) because the kids had pics taken at 9 am. My mom offered to pic Ry up cause he still wasn't feeling too hot. He had an ear infection as of last Thursday. Brit ended up tagging along with her too. I really wanted her to go and cheer her bro on, but she refused.
We got there, took pics, and had a breakfast break, then headed back for the game at 10. I just know that Caden has that weird smile he does when he really doesn't want to take a picture. We tried to get him to smile his cute little smile, but he ended up with this weird look on his face. Oh well, we tried.
He was awesome on the field again!! Seven goals. One in the first game and six in the next. The other team was good too. Mean, but good. The 2nd game they played was against a team of 3 girls (they play 3 on 3), and holy crap were those little girls mean. They pushed the boys around (I guess their mom's teach them early). This one little evil child was pushing and pulling the kids by their shirts down to the ground. I was actually appalled that her mom didn't tell her to stop. I would not let Brit behave that way! Grandma Nette was getting upset too. But...my son fought back. He didn't let her drag him around. At one point he scored a goal and pointed to her and said something. He was trash talking. LOL, we already talked to him about that though.
After the dirty game of soccer in the hellish heat, we went home and I got the soccer boy in the tub to bathe. After that we said we'd make a quick trip to the grocery store then to pick up the little ones. Wrong. I was tired..slept about 3 hours the night before since Mr Booby Monster didn't want to do anything but nurse...he was sick so I let him. I ended up napping with him.
After we picked up the 2 kids from Grandma's we went off to Austen's baseball game then came home.
Sunday it was church as usual, lunch, and later that evening we had dinner with the family. I got to visit with my Great Aunt and my Grandma and the kids played outside with the cousins. Not too bad of a weekend.
