My Birthday Surprise...

So as promised by the Hubs-I had one more birthday surprise. He actually didn't keep it a surprise very long. I managed to get it out of him. On Wednesday we dropped off the kids at Grandma and Grandpa's (they are the best) and he took me to Sam's Burger Joint to see Rhett Miller. I saw him live in 2003 when I was super pregnant with Caden, and I've been a huge fan ever since. We even almost named RyRy Rhett. Almost. So you don't know who Rhett Miller is? Well if you have ever seen the move The BreakUp with Jen Aniston and Vince Vaughn...she goes to see the "Old '97's" in concert...that's Rhett's band.
It was a blast!! He rocked the acoustic, and the venue was so small we got to see him really well without being swallowed by a crowd. Everyone sang along and he took the time to meet and chat with the fans after the show. It was just so cool.
So yes, Bryan is the best!! Thanks for getting me out of the house it was just what this Mommy needed!!! I had forgotten what it was like to have a little fun for myself...it was only a few hours but made all the difference to me.
