It's been crazy busy around here lately. I have no idea where to start! I guess I'll start at last weekend. I'll make this the super condensed version. Last weekend Caden's soccer game was cancelled due to all the hurricane business. So the day started out with the Hubs letting me sleep in a little and an early birthday breakfast in bed painstakingly made by you-know-who. Now you have to know this man does not cook. I worry that if I ever died that my kids would live off of crap or grilled cheese sandwiches which is about all he can cook. He used to make breakfast every now and then, but it has been a loooooong time since the last time he cooked. Bacon, eggs, and his yummy cinnamon french toast. Later that afternoon we went to a wedding. It was nice, the bride looked beautiful, and we got a chance to see a lot of Bryan's family that we don't always get to see. We weren't sure about going cause it was supposed to rain, but it's not often someone we know gets married so we made the effort to go. It didn't start raining until we got home. I love being at home when it rains.
Then Sunday we celebrated my 27th (omg) birthday (a day early). We had dinner and cake at my sister's house, and stayed there to play all evening. I got some great presents from my family. My sister got me a couple of nice shirts..she knows it's not often I get myself new things to wear. My mom got me a robe, and Bryan got me a new bible with my name embossed on the front along with a cover.
And....he also promised me a surprise for wed. night. He even lined up the babysitter (Grandma) all by himself.
