lots of cousins there and the kids had a blast. With
5000 eggs to find who wouldn't? We followed it up with a breakfst afterwards where my itty bitty one was a complete terror!! Seriously we're not even in the 2's yet but this kid sure does know how to throw a tantrum.
Saturday evening was filled last minute prep grocery shopping, egg dying, baking and a visit to my great Aunt in her nursing home. I had Brityn wear some bunny ears when we went and you know all those poor little old ladies just love it!! She always gets smiles when we go there. Later that night before the kids went to bed they went outside to sprinkle Easter Bunny food on the lawn. They also couldn't forget to lay out some carrots for him.
Sunday morning they woke up to a whole lot of treats, but not too many cause momma didn't over do the buying this year. After looking over the goods we got dressed and went to church. Then it was back home to get ready for our little family Easter get together. Usually we have this big party but this year it was nice and small....just us. We ate then we hunted too many eggs. We're still finding a few eggs here and there outside. And my kids will be eating Easter candy forever. Rylen over did the jelly beans and later that night had a tummy ache.
So lots of fun here over the weekend!!
