S l o w Weekend

We had a pretty slow weekend around here. We slept in on Saturday, and just lounged around the house all day long. Bryan went out and bought the kids a sandbox (what was I thinking?) so they played in that. Sand...everywhere. I always wanted to get them one, but never did cause at our house in Houston we had hard floors and I was not about to be forced into sweeping sand as they came in and out. Vacuuming sounds a lot easier!
We decided to bar b que later that afternoon and invited my parents. Uncle Nick and kids showed up later and the kids ran crazy till about 11 p.m. Sunday we left the kids with my mom and went Costco-ing. Buying in bulk rocks! Going on a weekend will assure you get plenty and plenty of samples too.
So that was it for an exciting weekend.
Oh, Monday we had dinner at grandma's house and Rylen enjoyed his very first dip in the big pool. He LOVED it! We didn't intend for him to get in cause he was sick last week, and I didn't even bring his swim dipe, at grandpa's insistence he got in and had a ball splashing. I think I have a water baby on my hands.
